We journey through life on a search for happiness and satisfaction. Sometimes we find it and sometimes we don't..

Thank God !
First and foremost, I would like to Thank God for everything that I had and don't have :) Today, I glance through my pictures and I felt grateful for all the memories that I had created for the past 30 years. God has grated and provided me with a Great life. Even though, my life is not perfect but I never ever asked or blame God for my shortcoming.
In this worldly life, we can't expect to have everything that we dreamt of, God is fair and square, I think God has given me more than I asked for. God has provided me with good education, work and family. Well, I keep on reminding myself not to be pleasant and take things for granted. It's time to give back to others. I always believes and remember God said : The more you gives, the more your received..:)

Today, I feel like writing ..feel like sharing my story :)
Even though this was my 3rd trip to Europe, I still feel excited and curious! This was my first time in Heathrow Airport. Luckily I did my online booking for my transport earlier. Yup, the airport was huge and its took almost 1 hour to do my custom clearance and pick up my luggage. A middle age gentlemen was waiting for me in front of the exist hall carried a card with my name on it.
It was only 6am in London and my chauffeur lead me to the car..wooow!! it was a black Mecz..well, old series Mecz bah:) I felt like some kind of rich datin for a while :) The service is quite good and cost me around RM 250 for one way trip to my hotel. It was still early, most of the Londoner was rushing to school and work..and I was the traveller :) The hotel was quite a distance from London but its closed to my meeting point. However, the transportation is very convenient and easy. By the way the hotel name is Peckham Lodge at South Park, approximately 40 minutes from London city centre.
Well, as expected the room is not ready until 3pm. The first things I did was grab a map and started my planning. The transport system in London was easy to understand and all you need to do is get some tips from the reception :) I took the bus no. 12 and the exploration begins :) Its took almost 40 minutes to reach Westminster, a familiar place for me. Yupp! It was the most happening place where London Big ben located. I walked from end to end...it was fun I guess I did lost a few kilos during this Europe trips.
SoloTraveller
I'm proud to call myself a Solo traveller. Yeah, I did it ! 3 months ago, I decided to travel.. all by myself..:) well, with approval from my beloved ones :) At first, my hubby was reluctant to let me travel alone but after series of persuasion and plan strategies, finally I managed to get the green light :)
Yup, to be frank ..I'm a bit scared, scared of what happened to MH370 but I guess my determination overcome my fear. The 12 hours journey to Heathrow, London was the longest journey I had. During these 12 hours journey, I recalled my hubby sad faces, I spotted tears from his eyes..yuup! I guess he was worried about me :) Well, even thought this is the second time I was away from home for more than 2 weeks times, the feeling of worry and quilty is still there :) However, I guess sometimes we need to have space for ourselves too:)
This was my adhoc trip to Europe, seriously I didn't do any planning at all until the last minutes..yup two weeks before the departure, I did all the online booking..flight ticket, hotels, ground tours and etc. May be I'm kind of expert in this field and I can make last minutes arrangement..of cause with higher cost. Well, I managed to google and get myself a cheap tour...13 days Eastern Europe with RM 4,200 which covered more than 13 countries i.e Amsterdam, Belgium, Czech Republic, Solkia, Germany, Italy, Vatican City and etc.
The moment I reached Heathrow Airport, the feeling of worry and fear is gone!...I was extremely excited and Happy :) To be continue :)
Merdeka! Merdeka ! Merdeka !
Happy Merdeka peeps!
How do you spend your Merdeka holiday? Me ? spend quality time with my loved one lah :)
Today, I would like to dedicated my 24 hours for myself and my hubby..:) oh no! I can't imagine .. I did not update my blog for quite sometime. My last post was back in April 2013.
Haiyooo...am I really busy? Yup, I admit that I am sort of workaholic and passionate about my job. I love to spend my time with work! work! work ! what so special about my work? Well, currently I'm attached with Stakeholder Relations unit and education is my core. Our signature program is Program Sentuhan Ilmu PETRONAS or known as PSIP. My stakeholder are student from all levels, primary, secondary and college/university student. I guess this is the most exciting job that I had coz I love teaching and mix around with children and young people. It makes me feel young..young at heart :)
Besides giving back to the community, the most exciting part about this job is...this job give you high level of job satisfaction :) Imagine the feeling when you are surrounded by innocent students with strong will to learn...they really appreciated what you did:)
Some pics of my activities with the students :)

Oh my! Another quarter has ended. Time waits for no man :P What have i done? And today is April the 1st. Happy Easter for those who is reading right now:) Yesterday was our Engagement and Team building so called Family Day. It was my first family day with my new SLRO team and i was assigned to organise this significant event. Well, i was given 2 weeks time to plan for everything from hotel booking, F & B, activities, entertainment, games and etc. Thank God! I have a reliable and committed working committee. Even though we are only few months or some of them just joined the company.
It was a tiring day but personally, i am quite happy with the smooth implementation. I still remember one day before the event, a short briefing was conducted to our management. Oh god! We were critised from end to end. Well, i was quite sad and worries but we managed to solve all the uncertainty and concerns from the management. Today, i received a positive compliment from our management. Well, hard work do pay off! Thank God for all the successful events. From Jan till March, i have organised a couple of events. The Major events were Reputation Management Cafe (RM Cafe), Profiling courses, Media Luncheon and Family Day and more to come..:)
Yup..! Preparation is crucial especially minutes to minutes details. Now, i am worry with my study, i have not prepare anything since last month :( Well, I am planning to take a break and concentrate on my study. However, our schedule does not allow us to do so..so sad :(

December
December is my favorite month..because it’s christmas month and my birth month!! Besides, it’s a holiday month..yup!! Worker like me is trying to have some rest and fun !
Do you know that we will be celebrating an auspicious day on 12.12.12. I’m sure many couple will tie their knot on this memorable day. It’s similar with last year ..11.11.11 where I celebrated the auspicious day with my colleagues back in PDB. hmmm....i should plan something for this but unfortunately it’s a working day! Nothing much can be done when your schedule is tight!
Apart from celebration, this month will be a reflection month for all of us. It’s time to measure our performance for this year! Have we achieve our dream? Resolution? Have we learn something, somewhere and somehow?
Tomorrow will be my 2nd months anniversary with my new company. Well, not really a new company..we are carrying the same brand, under the same umbrella:) Even though, we are sharing the same brand but the environment is totally difference... new set of faces, new set of procedures and new set of friends. I guess i should be greatful for what i have now. God has plan everything for me. Within 1 month, i got a new job offer. I still can recalled the moment when my ex-boss told me that the region function will be transferred to KL. At first, i can’t accept that the movement will take effect within 3 weeks time. But God is Great! Everything is possible! Guess what, i got a Job offer just RIGHT on time.
What can i say about my new job is .....high expectation! yupp!! Initially, i was worried whether i can deliver the task given but again Praise the Lord! i managed to cope and i found out that i started to love my job...:)

Motivational Story for myself! Desperately need this!
Thank you Thien Lei Mee for you inspired story!!!
Copy from Thien Lei Mee
Dear all,
My special thanks to Prof Ramayah and Dr Rem Dambul, I have learnt a lot from both of you based on what you have been posted in this academic group. Also, thanks to DSGian for the best wishes.
It is always a miracle when you believe that you can do it. Yes, I submitted my 10 copies for viva within two years. It seems unbelievable especially when I was a part timer in my first 11 months. Within this period, I slept almost 3 hours only per day and woke up at 3am to read articles for almost 3 hours daily. This is the only time that I have to pursue my PhD with the agreement to my family and children that they should be prioritized over my PhD.
However, this is definitely not good for mental health. Therefore, I decided to take non-paid leave to continue my studies. No choice, because I fail to get scholarship from KPM, not even call for interview too. Subsequently, i convert to be a full time student at my 12th months till to date. As such, I told myself that I must success! 2 years is my target. Programming my mind that there is no time to frustrated, cry or demotivated etc even though I encountered it. The only thing that in my mind is look for alternatives in order to solve the problem asap. Setting up the time frame for each stage of research process (proposal defence, data collection, previva, viva etc) and it must be achieved! Even waiting for viva, I still wake up earlier to read articles and write paper. Actually, I did enjoy this kind of life.
No doubt, to produce a sound and justifiable thesis is not an easy task. There are uncountable difficulties and obstacles that have to be overcome throughout the whole research process. Therefore, writing a thesis needs a great deal of knowledge, skill, persistence, time management, commitment, and ingenuity. Really think and behave like a PhD scholar. Moreover, having a committed and knowledgeable supervisor; critical peers who always challenge and question me about the content of the thesis from a variety of aspects; and knowledge networking from the same and different field are always be the advantages.
Completing the PhD thesis serves as a starting point for me to deepen my knowledge in doing research. Hope I can contribute my limited knowledge to this academic group from time to time.
Above is just my personal experience in pursuing the journey. Of course, different people have different way to achieve his or her target. Hopes this is only a personal experience sharing and serve no more than that. Thanks again and all the best! Enjoy your life with PhD studies because it is so precious to us.

The Muddy Journey
I wish upon the star
May my journey as smooth as the moon
The magic spell never came true
My journey filled with Muddy blues
My plead and cry to Mr. Muddy
Muddy oh Muddy
Please go away
Find yourself a new baby
I am too old to be worried
The Muddy path drive me crazy
Oh God, have
mercy on me
Cast away the hardhearted Muddy
God never promised to abandon Muddy
Muddy exist to prove His worthy
His promised to guide thoroughly
Until Muddy turned to rocky!

My humble beginning...weekend affair :)
I have a dream,
a dream sounds elderly,
a place called HOME SWEET HOME!
Far away from the city,
where the birds sing freely,
where the GREEN grass calling gently!
The Muddy Affair
The joy and passion of the gentle mud ,
dwell deeply into the soul seeker,
the touch of the watery mud,
ceased the soul of the worry heart!

All about Life :)
Sometimes Life Seems Hard To Bear
Author: Unknown
Sometimes life seems hard to bear
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It's then we have to remember
That it's in the valley we grow.
If we always stayed on the mountain top
And never experienced pain,
We would never appreciate God's love
And would be living in vain.
We have so much to learn
And our growth is very slow,
Sometimes we need the mountain tops,
But it's in the valley we grow.
We do not always understand
Why things happen as they do,
But I am very sure of one thing
My Lord will see me through.
The little valleys are nothing
When we picture Christ on the cross
He went through the valley of death
His victory was Satan's loss.
Forgive me Lord, for complaining
When I'm feeling so very low.
Just give me a gentle reminder
That it's in the valleys I grow.
Continue to strengthen me, Lord
And use my life each day
To share your love with others
And help them find their way.
Thank you for the valleys, Lord
For this one thing I know
The mountain tops are glorious
But it's in the valleys I grow.
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It's then we have to remember
That it's in the valley we grow.
If we always stayed on the mountain top
And never experienced pain,
We would never appreciate God's love
And would be living in vain.
We have so much to learn
And our growth is very slow,
Sometimes we need the mountain tops,
But it's in the valley we grow.
We do not always understand

But I am very sure of one thing

Finally i reached the finishing line :)

Yes! I did it!! The graduation day that I have waited long ago…finally arrived! I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep the whole night, afraid of being late.:P I tried to recall my year 2000 graduation day…gosh! I couldn’t recall at all! Hmmm…never mind, because this time I am going to make it a memorable one! That’s why I need to record down somewhere so that when I reach 50 years old…I can recall back all the sweet memories. :P
What impressed me most was, the graduation ceremony was filled with an air of grandeur! Back in 2000, UMS was still very new and the Chancellor Hall was still under construction, so we did not get the chance to graduate at the Chancellor Hall. Fortunately, this time around we get the opportunity to graduate here and the Convocation committee did an excellent job, all the process went on flawlessly...kudos to the team!!
Our group was scheduled in the 1st session, and we were quite fortunate because our MBA course was the earliest recipient immediately after the PHD graduates.:P The queuing system was awesome, and we wouldn’t need to organize ourselves according to alphabetical order. We could queue in any order we like, so I chose to queue with my good buddy..Noami Lim. UMS implemented the touch and go system, all we needed to do is scan the individual card and the name will automatically be projected at the huge screen followed with an announcement our names..! Woww!! So cool huh? Hehe..:)
The most anticipated and exciting moment was “the grand procession”, I really love the feeling! The grand entrance was rather a spectacular sight! The moment when I stepped inside the hall, I felt like I was on top of the world. It was of mixed emotion...on one hand, proud of being there and happy for myself but on the other hand, sad of leaving my campus life again!! The atmosphere was lively and accompanied by the wonderful melodies played by UMS ochestra...the music was great too!!
It was indeed my happiest moment as my parent, hubby and sister were there to celebrate my joyful moment. I really love this kind of feeling...hmmm, I guess I am gonna to do it one more time J

The Cloud Above
Does the cloud in the sky mean
anything to you? Have you ever
wonder why the cloud keeps on moving and changing its shape? Sound like a kindergarten
question huh?
I had been admiring the beautiful
and magnificent cloud lately. Every day during my 40 minutes journey to work, I
will definitely look and greet the cloud. Sometimes, if I am with someone, I
will definitely tell my passengers to look at the cloud, “It is so beautiful”! However,
lately I hardly see the cloud, oh ya! It was raining season, the cloud was
crying heavily!
I am still wondering how the clouds
present itself against the backdrop of the sky, how come for the past 30 years
I never noticed the cloud. It’s really magnificent and awesome! The puffy cloud
reminded me of our art class when we were young. The cloud has been identified
as puffy and white. How innocent our childhoods were! Last week I was with my
gal friend, enjoying 45 minutes joyride to our depot at Sepangar Bay. Along the
way, there was a spot that I love most, if you notice there is a hilly part
where you can see overall view of the Sepangar Port, 20 meter right after the
Karambunai Resort junction. That’s
the spot that I can view the cloud clearly!
However, the cloudy and dark sky
sometimes made me worry especially when I was onboard, am I ready for the bumpy
flight again? There was once when I flew with Air Asia the flight journey was
bumpy due to the thick cloud and it almost stopped me from traveling again! It
took me more than 3 months to get rid of my phobia of flying again. Despite all the bad experience that I
have encountered, I still can’t stop set my eyes on the beautiful cloud. I will
definitely pause for a second and admire the beautiful creation of God. (^_^)

"Life is what's happening when you're too busy to notice." -Wayne Muller
In
the relentless busyness of modern life, we have lost the rhythm between work
and rest. The word “I am so busy.” keep on coming out from our own mouth.
I
noticed that when I asked my friends how they were doing, they inevitably
responded “busy” instead of “good.” That’s what we called modern life, and
whether you’ve a stay-at-home mom, a work-at-home-mom, childless, single, a
student—chances are, you’ve got commitments that multiply when you’re not
looking. Everyone’s insanely busy.
The
busier we are, the more important we seem to ourselves and, we imagine, to
others. To be unavailable to our friends and family, to be unable to find time
for the sunset (or even to know the sun has set) and this has become the model
of a successful life.
Yet
the more our life speeds up, the more we feel weary, overwhelmed, lost. Our
life and work rarely feel light, pleasant or healing. Instead, as it all piles
endlessly upon itself, the whole experience of being alive begins to melt into
one enormous obligation. Because we do not rest, we lose our way. We miss the
compass points that show us where to go, the nourishment that gives us succor,
the quiet that gives us wisdom.
Rest
is not just a psychological convenience, but a spiritual and biological
necessity. So, I think I need a holiday..:)

Is it over....yet ??
Studying is my passion…I love study but I hate exam and assignments…hehe…☺ today was the “D” day for my thesis submission…fuuuhh!!!! What a relief!!! We had been struggling very hard for the past few months …amending the same thesis again and again not once but more than you can imagined…☺ I have wasted more than 10 reams of papers just to complete this thesis…partially was company’s papers…hehehe…on loan basis ok..:) I still remembered 4 years ago, I decided to take up this course just because I wanted to divert my attention..i was having a major turbulence in my career path…and taking up this course was the best remedies… I should thanked God for the trials that HE set for me and had given me a chance to explore other opportunity in life. I believe that everything that happens in our life come with a reason. God wanted me to be strong…☺ These 4 years had taught me to be stronger, mature and emotionally independent..:) The journey is not as smooth as silk…we faced a lot of challengers along the way…sometimes you feel like giving up..there was once when I felt like giving up because I almost reached the finish line but something bad happened and it held back my dream.. that’s life!!! The hardship is unexplainable but everyone went through it…so did I ☺

Busy...busy..busy..??
Extracted from Faithbook Quotes & Scriptures :-
If you enter into My rest, you will find rest from all your striving.
One thing that marks the orphan world system that we live in is the absense of the ability to rest. Busy, busy, busy. There is so much to do in too little time to do it. Rushing from work to home, rushing from home to work. Rushing to do the groceries, driving the kids to sports, going to church, etc. Throw in the thousands of media messages that we all get bombarded with every day. Busy, busy, busy.
It is exhausting just thinking about it. God is calling each one of us into a deep Sabbath rest in the very core of our being. While on the outside this might appear like pure inactivity and therefore unproductive, I believe the very opposite is true. When we allow ourselves to come into a place in our hearts where we cease from our own works, we are demonstrating in a very practical way that we are relying on God to work on our behalf.
This very real form of trust moves the heart of our heavenly Dad in a way that nothing else can. As long as we try to do all the work ourselves, carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders, we will be trying to do the work in our own strength. When we come to a place where we can slow down in our hearts and quiet the busyness that resides in the depths of our soul, we will find the Prince of Peace waiting for us to join Him.
Sure work needs to get done, groceries need to get bought, kids need to be driven to their various activities. But I believe it is our Papa's heart that we enter into a deep Sabbath rest in our hearts where we cease from all own striving and join Him in His rest. May God give each one of us wisdom today to show us how we can labor to enter into that place of rest.
I asked for strength and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity and God gave me brawn and brains to work.
I asked for courage and God gave me dangers to overcome.
I asked for patience and God placed me in situations where I was forced to wait.
I asked for love and God gave me troubled people to help.
I asked for favors and God gave me opportunities.
I received nothing I asked for....
But God gave everything I really needed. Praise God! ♥
